The description says Whimps and Posers, Screamo, Neo crap. It does not say that Screamo and Neo crap are whimps and posers. It just enumerates the people who really shouldn't even try to join. This is called an enumeration. What is your point again? I don't try to apply to a fucking "Trve soul music group" or a "Reel gangsta hiphop krew", because I'm not qualified to fulfill the acceptance criteria, plus I don't want to join a group that is dedicated to a music genre I don't listen to. Even if you listen to BM/Death or else, if you listen to screamo, then you fail at fulfilling the admission criteria for "Extreme metal group". That's all.

Listened to Impaled nazarene when younger. Now I don't. I guess if I discovered it now, I wouldn't like it. Screamo is a subgenre of Emo (thus it fails...) which is a subgenre of Hxc, which is NOT metal. It has nothing to do in an "Extreme metal" group. Listened to your track, and didn't like it. This is not the vocals (not bad, not good), but more of the melody. It reminds me a bit of Electric wizard, except the fact that I like Electric Wizard and not this :) Personnaly I don't know why I do not like screamo, but i really can't get along with the music by itself.

hate punk? what about Impaled Nazarene then? screamo is not about rebel and dark clothes at all. and automutilation is the main lyrical theme of all the dsbm bands. or is it looks like ‘emo black’ to you? // and speaking about punk... how about this track? http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/5793/Ekkaia.mp3 it's short, so it won't take much time. and this track involves very good vocals even by bm's standards.

By the way, I really tried to listen to this Celeste thing. If you were talking about the french band, I really hated it. That was so fucking repetitive, like one note repeted 200 times, no soli, a really shitty voice (feels like hearing donald duck who just had a tracheotomy singing...), and this is really HxC. I just can't.

You are not me. I like Chthonic and Nargaroth and HATE Screamo, and every single stuff that comes from Punk. It includes Emo, "punk metal", and Metalcore bands. I'm pretty cool with grindcore though. Screamo and everything that comes from Emo is just banned from here. We arent a group for 13 years old girls that think they are rebel, love dark clothes and automutilation, that's all.

hey guys, why are you against screamo? are you sure you know what is it? as I can tell you, screamo scene is very similar to underground bm scene. the same DIY shit, no major labels, no tv and radio, tapes trading, vinyl, closed concerts. and everything you heard about screamo have nothing in common with real screamo. or is Cradle of Filth real black metal for you? no? the same with screamo (and even much worse). that's why there are «real screamo» and «skramz» tags. just try to listen to Celeste, for example. I'm sure you'd like it. (and if I were you, I'd better remove poser shit like Nargaroth and Chthonic from Connected Artists)

Personnaly I dislike HxC, but love grindcore. Why is that? I dunno. But concerning the group, HxC ain't metal at all (clearly punk influenced) whereas grind has it's influences ranging from Punk to death metal and noise. That's why I added some grind bands to the bandlist.

NSBM is a subgenre of Black metal, because like every single other genre It is codified, and has it's own musical inspirations. Besides that, we can listen to a genre and do not endore any political/spiritual wiew that lurks behind the band. I remember saying "No politics here", so this will be my warning. The next one that talks about politics will be banned or if not in the group shoutbox will be for members of the group only.

Else there would have been a takeover by little emo fans. The reason why I recently kicked everybody that wasnt OBVIOUSLY an Extreme metal fan is because I had problems with some emokiddos that tried to "infiltrate" the group...

You just have a playlist full of faggy metal or pop rock and still wanna join a group dedicated to Extreme metal fans. This is not about having ALL your charts full of Extreme bands, but at list try to have one or two bands that could fit in when you apply. I don't care if you like any form of metal. In fact I don't care about you. This is as simple as that.
