  erx98: Cheers for the recommendation, I know the name but I'm pretty new to the doomier side of things as I've been listening to black and death metal, but I think as I get older I could do with something with coherent vocals and a slower pace for when I sit down with my pipe and slippers of an evening. I think I'll get hold of a copy of Epicus Doomicus Metallicus as that seems to be top on everyone’s Doom must haves.

  I have heard very little with "Warning" , but you must know the name Robert Scott "Wino" Weinrich (The Obsessed, Saint Vitus, Spirit Caravan, Place of Skulls,The Hidden Hand) but he is the only person I can think of in the terms of vocal style.

  I presume you mean the band from UK, this bands are disbandend but ”St Vitus” (disbanded in the 90,s), ”Minotauri” (disbanded in 2007), ”Reverend Bizarre” (also disbanded in 2007) are perhaps the closest. The guitar player Peter Vicar from Reverend Bizzare has founded a new band called ”Lord Vicar”. There is a band called ”Debris Inc” with members from St Vitus and Trouble but i never heard their debut record from 2005 but what i have read about it are that it is ultra-slow a la Vitus in some parts. The band ”Revelation” however are active and have released an Cd in november 2009 called ” For the Sake of No One”

  Any opinion about the latest releases of Candlemass –Death Magic Doom or Memory Garden-Carnage Carnival and the cd Leif Edling- Songs Of Torment - Songs Of Joy. It would be interesting to see what you people out there think of them.
