This group is for people who like doom or death metal songs which have clean vocals in them.






Btw you can join if you like doom or melodeath metal in general,coz then you like the songs with clean vocals as well!Hey i am open minded!And i made this group coz there is none like it,i like growling too.
The point is we realise the role of clean vocals in such music and we dont think that "tis bad metal muzic coz is no growled".We haz brains!

    I know the name of the group says "mostly clean"....but I realised later on the "mostly" part isnt important......I mean whether they have "mostly clean" or "mostly growled" vocals. Point of the group is to recognize the utility of clean vocals in these genres....in however much quantity they are used......and how they express contrasting emotions when combined with the death vocals. But hey thanks for the recommendation....I'll check that band out :) Welcome to the group :)

    yeah listen to Across the Dark,released in late 2009.It has a lot of cleans in it,and is a very good album!

    Maybe I should explain one thing as well: another reason for me not sorting out the growl/scream bands is because you have Insomnium in there. And as far as I know, they don't have a single ounce of clean vocals. But maybe they have released something new since last I checked them out.

    Aborted, Akercocke, Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, Beneath The Massacre, Bloodbath, Cannibal Corpse, Carcass, Carnal Forge, Children of Bodom, Chimaira, Debauchery, DevilDriver, Gorefest, Gorerotted, Hate Eternal, Hour of Penance, Hypocrisy, In Flames, Internal Suffering, Jungle Rot, Nile, Norther, Obituary, Paths of Possession, Six Feet Under, Soilwork and Witchery. Lots of these are rather brutal and don't have clean vocals. Sorry for maybe wasting your time, but I'm too tired to sort them out. Couldn't find the rest of my Death Metal collection. I'll keep looking.

    Yeah some of them are already in the connections and some of them i have heard of just havent gotten round to listening to them yet.But hey thanks for the MANY recommendations!: ) And yeah like the group name says doom or DEATH metal so we are after Death Metal :P Your contribution is much appreciated dude!And to all the members just check out the connections if you are looking for music like this : ) WOOOOHOOO ALMOST 200 members FUCKING AWESOME!
