  The Net Label Coalition (NLC) represents a group of CC based Net Labels who feel that there's both a place and a need for a hub of communication and organisation within the free music movement. It's initial intent is to draw the many disparate elements of our community into discussing the issues which we face and collaborating on finding new ways to approach this wholly new method of cultural distribution. Anyone who has an interest in the present and future of free music is welcome to join in the debate and whilst founded upon the net label movement the NLC is intended to be representative of everyone who believes that art, be it visual, literary or musical, is meant to be shared as opposed to commodified and consumed.
