May 26:
REVELEE REMIXES
Delia & Gavin are releasing the first Days of Mars single, Revelee, on June 5th (13th in the US). In it will be remixes from Carl Craig, Baby Ford, and DFA (of course), and an alternate version of Revelee, more "gentle and rhythmic" than the album version. It will be available on CD and 2xLP, and the CD will include a video to accompany Revelee directed by "Brazilian fine artist assume vivid astro focus".



The Juan Maclean - Visitations
In the spirit of LCD Sounsystem's Introns, The Juan Maclean will have a download-only album entitled "Visitations" available June 12th, 2006. Included are remixes by Booka Shade, X-Press 2, Cajmere and more, B-Side "La Chine", the new single "Love Is In The Air" with remixes and an exclusive track "Dance Floor Modulator".



May 22:
Prinzhorn Dance School seems to be the latest DFA signing (thank you jamietetlow), and there's next to no information about them available on the internet. There's a demo here and a few short descriptions (sparse arrangements, neanderthal-esque rhythms, more rock-y than dance-y) but aside from that, not so much as a MySpace page.



Update (May 24):
Juan (of The Juan Maclean) had this to say:
Very nice, although I have pretty much ignored rock bands for the last 10 years, they are really fucking good judging by the recordings I have heard. An addition to the DFA stable that will make a lot of sense. Big Fall influence to my ears, pretty sparse, I know that's not much to go on....Also, a much needed addition of good looking people to the DFA family.
