Most of the time, the differences are neglible in any case, but we still have massive divisions between Greens and Socialists, Socialists and Communists, Marxist-Leninists and Centre-lefts etc, etc. It's frankly the major reason behind the defragmention of the left, and the success of Reaganite or Thatcherite politics in most Western countries. As a socialist, or communist, or whatever you identify as, it is imperative to unify, not divide.

you're totally right and I noticed this nearly everywhere in the world. It's mostly the case that the right-eing goes to the poll unified, but the left-wing thinks way too much and questions everything (which normally isn't bad at all) and so divides in many slightly different groups, which are chanceless for themselves.
