Fuck everybody else but

Jesus And Mary Chain are the main reason i would come.

Of course the rest of the line up is bloddy excellent, but not having watched JAMC live yet, has been one the biggest regrets in my life. God bless them! :)

I find new bands I'm interested in every day...

My interest in the festival began when I heard that RATM would be there...that was it, I was sold. Passes were sold out for Sunday so I bought a 3 day pass w/o checking out who was coming Friday/Saturday. Since then I've been pleasantly surprised by the number of great bands who will also be there: The Jesus and Mary Chain, New Pornographers, The Kooks, Interpol, Sonic Youth, Blonde Redhead, RHCP, Explosions in the Sky, Tapes 'N Tapes, !!!, Damien Rice, Rufus Wainwright, Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, The Decemberists, LCD Soundsystem, Against Me!...and the list keeps growing. I'm really excited to be exposed to so much great music, some of which I'd never been interested in before...but honestly, even if none of the other bands were coming i still would've put out the $250 for a ticket to see Rage. And coming from Edmonton, Canada that is not a cheap ticket!
