  Yes it is mindboggling. Chris Whitley was a genius. That is not an opinion. That is a fact! I've been hooked from his debut. None of my friends have ever understood why I idolize this man. Glad you people do. =)

  Hi @ all. I'm from germany and that i found Chris, was a mistake in the public library of my hometown. At home i noticed, i got the wrong cd. So i listen to "Living with the Law" and it was totally suprising. Since this day has Chris a place in my heart. Duddley

  I have noticed him first time on 1991 when I was 19 years old. I saw him playing 2 or 3 songs in a german TV-live-show. The name of the show was LIVE AUS DEM ALABAMA. He was playing Big Sky Country and Hard To Living With the Law. In that moment I knew that I discovered a magic musician. Chris, your music stays alive...FOREVER !
