  There were no best-on-best tournaments in 2011-2012. In fact, Canadians are progressing so quickly that even the World Juniors, which used to be a best-on-best competition, are no longer best-on-best. The last World Juniors should have had Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (1st overall pick of last draft), Jeff Skinner (Calder trophy winner), Tyler Seguin (Stanley Cup Winner) and many more.

  Jonathan Toews is definitely better than any Russian, that's for sure. Who was it that shutdown the top Russian line during the Olympics? Oh right, Toews, Richards and Nash. That line dominated the Russians.

  NidvuG,пойми,она говорила,что Эберле лучше,чем сам великий,да что там ВЕЛИЧАЙШИЙ уже Павел Дацюк...хоккеист с идельным катанием, у которого невозможно отобрать шайбу,один из самых эффективных и полезных игроков современного хоккея,человек,который одинаково здорово играет что в защите,что в нападении,хоккеист,у которого богатейший набор финтов и обманных движений, один самых умных игроков мирового хоккея (если не самый умный)...она не понимает и не принимает никого,кроме своих канадских баранов,играющих в стиле "швырни шайбу вперёд-уеби соперника посильнее-затолкай шайбу в ворота", бесполезно спорить с этой бестолочью,я тупее бабы не припомню.

  I`m not interesting your "what if". If Crosby is better than Malkin, it would come and prove it at the World Championships. This year, Malkin proved that he is the best in the world, and the cowardly girl named Crosby may continue to find excuses for injuries.

  He only had the most points because Crosby was injured. In the 20 or so games Crosby played this season, he averaged more points per game than Malkin. All this despite having not played in about a year. Not bad at all. Plus, Crosby came though in the highest pressure situation: Olympic gold medal game. On the other hand Malkin, got manhandled by Canada in the Canada-Russia game.
