English music by city

Which city in the UK has the best bands and artists? I propose:

- Liverpool (Beatles, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Zutons, Wombats, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Boo Radleys, Coral);

- Glasgow (Belle & Sebastian, Amy MacDonald, Franz Ferdinand, Travis, The Fratellis, Camera Obscua, Mogwai, Paolo Nutini, Simple Minds, Snow Patrol);

- London (Coldplay, Rolling Stones, Queen, Dido, Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie, Kinks, Who, Blur, Phil Collins, Clash, Small Faces, Libertines, Bloc Party);

Any opinion?

Here's some more from London, it's too big I guess! Birmingham's not bad either though.

Glasgow is not in England, its a Scottish city.

here are cities by country around the UK & Ireland......

England - ( Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool )

Scotland - ( Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, Inverness )

Wales - ( Cardiff, Swansea )
