Urgent help needed. New Brazilian singer.

Hi all, I'm in desperate need of help so please if you know something, any information would be very much appreciated.

I'm looking for a present for my mother, she talked about it a while ago. All I know is it's a 'NEW' Brazilian female singer, who released an album a couple of months ago in France (or elsewhere as well?). Her sound is similar to Bebel Gilberto I think and she had an interesting name.

Also, I THINK the album was named after her as well.

Any thoughts? Getting seriously desperate here.

Some possibilities:

- Maria Rita: 1st album got Emmy; 2nd album released earlier this year; daughter of the late Elis Regina... really good.

- Marina Lima: old timer... but I like her.

Thanks, unfortunately neither of those are the right ones :(

She's a new artist, as in, 1st album a couple of months ago.

yeah, Ceu. She also just released a second one. Others, similar in sound, could be Adriana Calcanhotto ( although ceertainly not new ), simone guimares, roberta sa, sara tavares...
