I love hip-hop, it's makes up about 80% of my charts, but what I don't understand is why rappers feel the need to put 'skits' (sometimes called 'preludes') on their albums. They last about a minute, contain no beat/instrumentation ,and is usually made up of two or three guys talking about how gangster they are, e.g. something about shooting some 'nigger' up, counting some large sum of money, or some other shit. Man, if this was real shit, I don't think you'd go into a studio, record it, then release it onto your record. It's probably there to make it sound more street or something, but when I buy music, I want music.
The rap was thought up not by you and rappers it is better to them to know than it to fill, sad chatter or a torn rhythm. Don't like another's, make yours. For now notice better + than - it will relieve you of gastric frustration, hard listener.
The only thing I don't enjoy about hip hop.
