    I'm suprised to find that nobody has started this thread yet. Anyway, post your favorite Bloc Party song, and maybe a few reasons why you like it!

    My favorite is Luno- I know it's not usually a lot of other people's favorite, but it's so fast and it's probably their best dance song!

    I also like Pioneers- one of my favorite lyrics being "So here we are reinventing the wheel, and shakin' hands with a hurricane."

    Little Thoughts- I don't know why, but this is probably the catchiest song they have in my mind. In fact, I caught on to this song before I even heard Banquet!

    What do you guys like? and Why?

  • I love Pioneers, mainly because of the way Kele sings in it, but also because of the melody.

    Yeah Little Thoughts also has to be a favourite, some people say its boring, but I really like it.

    Always New Depths is a nice song, though very similar to This Modern Love, especially at the end.

    I totally love the start of the this song. It still sends me shivers up my spine, everytime I hear it.

    all the songs are brilliant to my mind but at the moment i'm really into Little Thoughts, Hero and Skeleton

    Ditto that. It's an amazing start to a great album. Also, I really, really like Tulips, the B-side to Little Thoughts. And the acoustic versions of Plans and Storm And Stress on the Pioneers EP are cool. I find it quite hard to pick a favourite though. It's easily my favourite album of the last year or so.

    the guitar work in helicopter is amazing with the two of them going at once
    i enjoy luno because of melody and interesting lyrics :-)

    p.s.
    has anyone heard of the death from above cover of luno...its pretty aesome considering that they only have two members

    My favourates are defantly "Helicopter" "Price Of Gas" and "Little Thoughts"

    Although "Hunting For Witches" is fast becoming my favourate after just a scratchy bootleg of it.

    Yeah, I heard the bootleg. The song sounds great, but I can't actually bring myself to listen to it more than once because the quality's so bad. I think I'll just wait until the new album comes out.

    it's so hard to choose a favourite song.. i liked 'banquet' a lot but i sort of listened to it over and over and over and now i'm sorta sick of it

    at the moment my favourites are 'two more years' and 'blue light'

    Hm :-/ .. hard to choose, I like Silent Alarm a lot.
    But if I had to choose this will be my top 3:

    1. Banquet
    2. She's Hearing Voices
    3. This Modern Love
