Ozzy or Dio?

 
  • Ozzy. Dio vocals shine in his solo carrier imo.

    Dio is the best singer... But Ozzy has made more classic albuns on Sabbath, so, Ozzy!

    The Ozzy era had superior material and was a more fruitful time for Black Sabbath. I think that the Dio era was good, but not as consistent as the first six Ozzy albums.

    Dio in Rainbow was far better than Dio in Sabbath anyway.

    I can't compare ozzy era Sabbath to dio era Sabbath, they sound really different. Dio was technically a better singer then ozzy, but ozzy has a unique singing voice..and ozzy is a good showman.
    To me, the first 5 black sabbath cds with ozzy are classic. But heaven and hell and mob rules are good, even though they are different styles then early Sabbath.
    Martin reminds me of don dokken.

  • Dio is among the greatest metal singers, but i prefer Ozzy. All of the Sabbath albums with Ozzy are magical and pure pleasure to listen.

    Yes, if we ignore the last two with him.


    Anyway, even though like early Sabbath albums more, I would still pick Dio over Ozzy.
