found out today that bill was in national health. i don't know how this man was able to keep up with so many projects. bill bruford is superhuman.

I've enjoyed Bruford since the early 70's. Had the distinct pleasure of meeting him and Jon Anderson at Center City Music. (Later) that same night, got to see them perform "CLOSE TO THE EDGE"... Long time fan and follower of his amazing sound and incredible technique. He is by far one of the all time best. His impeccable timing and innovative sound are what has allowed him to blaze the trail and make some of the most innovative and original sounding music with some pretty influential bands since the 60's. I wish that he would return to the stage and play again so I could go and see him ONE MORE TIME... In my opinion YES lost their edge when he left... U.K. was never the same and Crimson was never BETTER under his supreme craftsmanship. His In-The-Pocket Play on "ROUNDABOUT" is really genius especially durning Wakeman's blazing organ solo... I've got to go listen to "Roundabout" NOW...

Bruford is the best drummer ever. He was at Yes and King Crimson, the two best progressive rock's bands.
