New Balkan Brass website looking for volunteers!

Hi everyone,

After running the Balkan Brass mailing list for almost five years (as well as the Balkan Brass group on Last.fm) I’ve decided to add another brass related project to my “portofolio”: a website dedicated to balkan brass, gypsy beats and related styles.

I’m currently building a first version of the site, but I do not want to maintain the site all by myself: I’d love to get input from all you balkan brass fans out there. What I’m looking for are CD and concert reviews, news items, bio’s of brass bands big and small, links to sites, clips, audio, etc, concert and festival dates for the ‘calendar’ section, etc. and maybe some general feedback on what you would like to see on a site like this (historical backgrounds? descriptions of instruments?).

So, if you would like to submit anything every once in a while, be it CD reviews, news items, etc. please get in touch!
