  I think it's a rather short span within 9x/0x (like, say 5 years) where the bestest experimental electronica was ever made… Particularly Ae's stuff like Confield, which I also regard as sort of a milestone, being preceded and succeded by as much notable (but less recognized) artist like Vcam, Quench, Lexaunculpt and not so many others.

  Everything they've done since Confield is so fucking good! Confield, Draft 7.30, Gantz Graft, Untilted and Quaristice are all so good that I can't decide which I like the most.

  I don't see much talk of "Confield" or "Gantz Graf EP," the two Autechre albums that I regard as some of their best work. Anyone else agree/have a comment?

  My favourites are Amber, Tri Repetae and Utilted, Chiastic is a Mysterious one that I enjoy going back to and so is Lp 5. Never really been a big fan of Confield or Draft they`re a bit too annoying and not as enjoyable, Quaristice is pretty decent though.

  You know that > When something important happens to you, you exactly know where you've been & what were you doing > I was having lunch back in '97 when I saw C. Cunnigham's video -> AE Second Bad Vilbel.. I was STUNNED! and techno-showhost apologized that the video wasn't suitable for that show. Maybe he was right.. >> Croatian TV shouldn't be allowed to broadcast something so BEAUTIFUL & PERFECT in any possible aspect. I've ordered & bought CD & since then AE is #1!!! (so why try harder ;-))
