This group is for people who believe that humans, as a species, have a lot to learn from their animal counterparts.

Whether you are a vegetarian or a vegan, an activist, or just someone who appreciates and respects animals, this is the group for you. Humans are the only species to possess malice and inflict pain on others, while at the same time understand the pain being inflicted. We have obliterated entire species for sport, we have wrecked havoc on the planet, created severe ecological imbalances, we've raped, we've pillaged, we've murdered, destroyed and deceived. The human mind is both a gift and a curse, perhaps it would have been better in more responsible hands.

    @backslashh: why not become vegan (or at the very least vegetarian)? Please don't fool yourself into thinking that organic animal farming is anywhere near good for the animals themselves. It's just not in their interest. Like animal experimentation as you describe isn't in their interest but only in the interest of people.     I also think we should test medicines on ourselves. We are the ones that need it, so we should try them ourselves, instead of forcing them upon innocent animals.

    I'm not vegan/vegetarian, but I do try my best to purchase biological meat(I guess people would disagree with this too)where I can, because seeing knowing the animals have lived a life of dignity satisfies more than being part of a large consumption machine. We always think we are the ultimate being, sapient, intelligent and full of grace, but in fact we are rotten to the core, full of greed and out there to inflict harm upon other beings. We are not the pearl of (an unexistent, in my opinion) god, or crap like that. We are decaying matter, and if the Earth had to choose one kind to exterminate, we would probably be the ones to die. In this light, nature disasters aren't even a bad thing...

    Falled in love with this group from the beginning...for me (bein "political" and sloganistic) Animal Liberation IS Human Liberation...so i think animal enslavement is another face of what is happening in our society right now..fight for animal rights is one of the fights we should stand for..but is true that we,human animals,should LEARN A LOT from non-human animals..compared to their semplicity,their non-cruelty (killing for need,not just for pleausure and profit as we are able to..),their abilty of listen to their instinct and live in the world around them without waste it as we do..we are just shit,a cancer to this planet..often i admit i just think we should exitnct for let the nature find its way without us,probably a better way......but well,right now we are here..so what we should do is remember how to live WITH the nature around us without abuse on it as we're doin now...simple to say,but a lot harder to do,i know..oh well..sorry for my bad (and probably tipsy)english..
