Hey everyone. We are two guys from Bulgaria, playing guitar and creating music. We compose and record in different musical styles. Storm is about life. In life there are warnings that we don’t head. Choices we make. Even a love affair with the storm, maybe for its magnetism, for its energy, for its passion, for its potential. Perhaps we as mortals want to try, in some ways to tame that storm like a wild stallion in the high desert. The storm can bring the essence of everything we need. Rain, renewal, water, brevity from heat, refreshment, its wind, cleaning, turbulent as it is, setting us on a new course of direction or reaffirming an old one. Storms are rarely quiet and often destructive. Storms cannot be tamed. Like a Tasmanian Devil on the loose, but yet, can bring such beautiful elements and visuals that we stand in awe. We each have elements of the storm within us.

The music of storm contains the experimental field recording track Crows Omen, originally released with electronic-music.com’s field recording challenge. Throughout time and various cultures the crow has been an omen of a trickster and death. Buddhism embraces the crow in a more positive light, as a protector. Crows Omen embraces all three concepts. A warning to follow your intuition, listen to the inner silent voice or death (change) is on the way. There is always a storm with change.

The title track, Storm, was originally released in the spring of 2009 as Ghost Dance and hit number 14 on Denver’s dance tracks. The title was altered as it didn’t seem fitting for the intention of the piece any longer. The dark ambient pieces, Coronal Mass Ejection, Thunderstorm and Magnetosphere play with dissonance; the dissonance of change, the struggle between letting go and holding on, the internal battles within oneself and conflict of misunderstanding. They are ominous, as in my perception there is always an ominous quality to storms whether they are impending or occurring. There are also pure electronic and noise pieces encompassed in the breadth of Storm; the title track, Storm Chasers, Supercell, Anticyclonic (a backwards moving cyclone) all with noise, heavy drum and bass lines that spin in vibration.

This is not one of my new age albums that will bring you to oneness with the Divine. It is however, real and apart of me. Take a ride in the Storm.

Magnetic Wind engages in a transcendent process in creating her art where she becomes a conduit of spirit, vibration and sound, performed intuitively.

This versatile artist has composed and performed in a variety of genres for over two decades. Her early influences were George Winston , Enya and Liz Story, as well as Fresh Aire and Mannheim Steamroller. Later she would combine her love for shoegaze and the ethereal, work with nationally famous gospel artists and producers and explore pop and rock. But the roots in her soul have always been in the ambient and new age genres. Kirtan, mantra and chant have been apart of her life since 2003. Influenced by Deva Premal, Tom Furhman, Wah and Ashana as well as the process and style of Lisa Gerard, Magnetic Wind’s new albums focus on the intertwining of multiple processes of music making from organic to electronic, vocal to field recording, and everything else in between.

The 2009 debut album of Magnetic Wind met with rave reviews with the title track, Believe, selected to be part of Songs for Hope, an album dedicating to helping abused and neglected children in the southern U.S. It was also honored as being chosen as a theme song for the group Women in Recovery. In 2010, Chakras was released, featuring the critically acclaimed single, The World Below. Magnetic Wind has been featured on The Power of Prog, New Age Music Circle, Night Tides (KCUR, Kansas City), Astreaux World, Radio Mystic, Anima Lumen (Brazil), Stillstream.com, Sadayatana, Nightscaping, Spiral, Mystic Music, Free Floating and Hearts of Space. The World Below was selected as apart of Sounds From the Circle, produced by Only New Age Music producer Suzanne Doucet for the Winter 2010 compiliation CD.
Astral Vortexes, released in 2010 on Endless Ascent and has been heard on stillstream.com, KCUR’s Night Tides, Astreaux World, as well as various podcasts and stations around the globe. In December of 2010, she released Sounds of Rumi Vol. 1, ethereal ambient, and in February 2011 La Petite Morte, a dark ambient album releasing on Rain Netlabel. She is a trained sound healer, Reiki Master and reflexologist and dedicated to the field of healing through sound vibration, divine voice and altered states of bliss.

Imagine two friends whose passion is to learn and discover the world.
They love to walk around, wander and express their observations later. When first tends to focus more on Earth, soul of second is far away in space. Finally, they decide to leave this planet and settle in different galaxy where they continue to turn into sound what they have already done.

1 guitar , 1 drum and 0 overdubs or backing tracks. All synth sounds are actually processed percussion and everything is done in one completely live pass. Elements of ambient, space, psychedelic and world in a free improvisation style we call 'quantum jazz.' Just wanting to share. Thanks!!!
