Band Biography
Ayabie was formed in the early 2004 by Ryouhei, Takehito, and Intetsu with Aoi. On May 8th, 2004, Ayabie held their first oneman, where their first single was distributed. Following this release was their next single, Romancer, which was limited to 1000 copies. Ayabie's debut album was released on March 21, 2005, entitled Ayabie Sokukan Ongenshu. The group finally also found a permanent drummer later that year, Kenzo. In June 2006, Ayabie toured Europe for the first time. In August, Ryouhei left the band due to his disagreement of the band's future.

Yumehito became the newest member of Ayabie 3 months later. The band adjusted to the change by splitting song writing duties among the band members, with Yumehito writing many of the band's lyrics. In 2007, Ayabie returned to Europe again and released the mini-album Ecumenical along with many singles. Ayabie also scheduled a US tour for the first time in June 2008, as part of their world tour. At the conclusion of their "Mikazuki no Kiseki" Tour on September 27, 2008, Ayabie announced that as of Spring 2009 they would be going major and released several singles and one full length album, as well as a live DVD.

The band disbanded late September 2010. Aoi went on to do solo work and the other four went on with AYABIE.
