Can Last.fm tell you when you're favourite artists release material/are on tour?

    i heard this a while back from i dont know where, and cant seem to find out whether its true or not, it would be a very handy application if so.

    It can't do the bit with albums (the data on albums isn't complete enough), but it will give you recommended events for artists coming near your location.
