iPod scrobbling picks up iTunes plays

So yeah... having this problem:

"When you scrobble your iPod, it picks up your iTunes plays too - This is an error that sometimes comes up when the Scrobbler picks up your playcounter change in iTunes as iPod play. Unfortunately this is an iTunes error we currently can't do anything about."

Never had it before, it just started happening all of a sudden, and as a result of that, artists I don't like too much have skyrocketed up my charts.

Now, I'm not blind.. I can read that you (last.fm) don't have a solution for this, however.. is there any way I can deleted the tracks that was mistakenly scrobbled while keeping those I actually did listen to. (say, turning 2 play counts of a song into 1)

Also, bonus problem: my last.fm scrobbler have stopped asking me whether I wish or don't wish to scrobble tracks from my ipod. Usually I would get a check list of all the songs I've listened to on my ipod, but for some reason... not any more.


I am grateful for any help, and I apologise for creating a thread about this oh-so-familiar-and-tedious issue. :P
