I thought It would be neat if I was notified when an artist from one of my favorite bands or in my library joined a new band, or if a member from a band no longer together joined or started a new band.
For example : If Elizabeth Fraser started a new side project, I would be notified.
Or: If Kurt Feldman of The Depreciation Guild started or became part of new band called Ice Choir ... i would be notified !
I think it's a pretty easy way of finding good music, just as long as you know who's in the band, you know it will be good.
Also ... If the same bar used to show similarity of users artist from Low - Super was used on actual artist. Showing me my chances of liking that artist at all. It would help narrow down the 28 tabs I usually have up but never get to.
Hey, you know what would also be really neat ... If there was like a Dot or a Bar on the user images showing compatibility by color. I would be able to see if someone is of super compatibly without clicking on there page.

Oh no ^ ^ , Not my music, more like places iv'e asked questions, like on an artist page or song I shouted on, that would show up on my recent activity but after a couple more shouts, it may be nearly impossible for me to remember where I shouted, since the shout may also occur when playing the radio, and that isn't saved (cached) in my browser's history, so there becomes no way for me to look back, and then shout gets lost into the red void that is last.fm ^ ^''

Hey, You know what. What If I was also able to see who has ME as a neighbor. I know the whole neighborhood thing is well made and all. But It would help If I could see who has me as they're neighbor since I noticed that when I went on the neighborhood of someone who was at the top of MY neighborhood, they didn't have me as a neighbor, So It got me thinking ... how can this be my neighborhood if i'm not even recognized by my own neighbors. How ? So, then I said well, the only way for me to truly have neighbors is if I find out who recognizes me as they're neighbor, which may be impossible to some degree, since I do not know how the neighbors feature is programmed, But I would think it would be based on scrobble information, since Iv'e also noticed that random people who simply share ONE artist similar to mine, have the same neighbors as me, but those neighbors barely have much listens and/or artist in they're library.

You know what also be pretty cool. If I can see the newest artist and/or songs added to Last.fm. Not by using under 100 or under 2000 tags. Some of my most favorite artist weren't and (some) still not tagged with anything, ask me how I found them ... I still can't remember, I think I must have gone through about 5 different sets of similar artist to get to one, But yes, I think that would be neat. It helps with finding something new every now and then without listening to a radio or opening tabs of similar artist. Could you imagine if band camp did something like that, how amazing would that be to see the most recent band who decided to go public. It would help the band, the world and my ears ! ! ! ^ ^''
One more thing ... I don't like going on to a page and not seeing a 30 second sample button. I find it's just a waste of time and so disappointing to go to an artist page and not be able to listen to at least 30 seconds of a song that you know is going to be so good. The whole point of being on last.FM is to find music ... not to read a bio about a artist youv'e never heard before and can't hear, and then you look every where and you still can't find the song since know one has uploaded it to you tube, it's in a different language, it's so old the record label no longer exist, and/or it's not posted on any blog that would enable you to download the song. Users should at least be able to add the song just so It can be sampled, and then last.fm can crop just 30 seconds of the songs. Maybe there's so legal issue involved with that, but since it's not the whole song, it might be no problem at all.
When I play my radio. You know that little slide show that also plays, showing the pictures of the band or artist. It would be great to be able to have that in full screen so when i'm not doing anything but listening to the radio I can see the pictures in full screen. Iv'e tried simulating this onto a television and it dose look very nice. I hope you guys consider if anything ... this.

The General Volume Level of the 30 sec samples of songs ... it's a tad high. (Not a means of complaint)
I can always raise the volume but I can't always low it down. It's loud; and I end up always keeping my speakers on 1 (the lowest level possible) ... maybe something's wrong with my speakers but, yeah, when you don't feel like expecting the unexpected at such a volume, It can sometimes be unpleasant.
I figured I'll just move my last post to this one since ... since ... Hmm ... well now it's here ^ ^
It should be possible for me to know who's listening to my radio, or who has listened to it. & Their should be a way for me to see all the new playlist that my friends have made? I think playlist are very important in discovering music, especially the good music from sources you know.
