MADFEST live music festival is quickly establishing itself as a key Yorkshire event in the closing stages of the summer festival season.
A weekend ticket costs £40, an evening ticket is £15 and camping is £10
Friday – Thea Gilmore, Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman, Anna Coogan
Saturday – The Demon Barbers Roadshow, Chumbawamba, Ay Ducane
Sunday - The Albion Band*, Spiers and Boden, Kris Drever Trio
(* Eliza Carthy Band has had to withdraw due to illness)
Elsecar Power House Stage (Free Entry):
Saturday – Blackbeards Tea Party, Ay Ducane, Holly Taymar, Blue Horyzon, Silkstone greens, barnsley longswords, Wath Morris, plus open mic (with The Bar-Steward Sons Of Val Doonican), Real Ale bar and craft stalls.
Sunday – The Baghdaddies, Bo Weavil, Blue Horyzon, Feet First Frumptarn Guggen Band, Treebeard (on the folk steam train)
