Wed 22 Apr – The Appleseed Cast, Gifts From Enola, An Horse, Memory to Matter, Wolves and Machines
This was my 4th time seeing The Appleseed Cast and definitely the best yet. They played for over 90mins with many new one's from Sagarmatha and many of my older favorites like Steps and Numbers, Fishing the Sky, Forever Longing the Golden Sunsets, and Fight Song. The new bassist and drummer were solid as well. Well worth the 2 hour drive and getting home at 3:30am. The vocals were fuzzy and hard to hear but you would expect that from a smaller venue PA like Rubble's but with the Appleseed Cast the guitars and instrumentals are much more the focus of the band anyway. My only complaint was how smokey Rubble's was, It seemed like I was one of the only few not smoking.
