Featuring Phutureprimitive's brand new 3D projection mapped stage production, Caeli La - Ritual Dancer performing with video feedback effects, and visual music pieces exploring urban surrealism, visionary art, hyper graphic techno magic, and the redemptive power and beauty of nature.

Get ready to dive into the interplay of polarities: masculine and feminine, angular and organic, objects and space, technologic and natural, dark and light, phuture and primitive.

This show also features the Dance Out Your Demons game, where audience members can write down a demon, fear, wish or desire on a piece of duct tape, stick it to the bottom of their shoe, and dance it out or dance it in!

* PHUTUREPRIMITIVE *

Phutureprimitive is the moniker of Bay Area producer and songwriter Rain. Early childhood photos reveal Rain sitting at the piano plinking keys, grinning from ear to ear... a true sign of things to come. Continuing his early fascination, Rain was later drawn to electronic music, inspired by its ability to combine the best of organically played instruments and the synthetic pleasures of sounds more exotic to the human ear.

After beginning a DJ career in the 90s, Rain began incorporating the music he was making in his home studio into his DJ sets. That was all it took to trigger a full blown love affair with electronic music and the process of its creation... and Phutureprimitive was born.

Phutureprimitive's music is best described as dripping wet love drops of nasty mind melting sonic bliss. Lush melodies drift across intricate rhythms, groove heavy beats and warm, fuzzy bass lines. Often exploring a dark and dense palette, there is also a profound sense of tranquility and beauty, engaging the listener in hypnotic movement and often escalating into a full-on kinetic experience. Shimmering with cinematic qualities, his music ultimately speaks to the body, mind and soul.

Coming from the mossy forests of the Northern Lands on the west coast of Elven Country, Kaminanda's ever evolving sound is a playground of original deep Midtempo grooves, tribal rhythms, creative trip hop,complex Dub and lush downtempo textures. Playing live sets with guitar, keyboards, flutes, melodica, and vocals,Kaminanda's music is designed to take the listener/dancer on a journey traversing diverse landscapes reflecting the evolution of our collective consciousness....Having shared his creations at electronic music festivals such as Entheos, Shambhala, Symbiosis,Beloved,Rootwire,LIB,Burning Man and Earthdance,as well as international festivals Envision,Boom and Eclipse Australia. Kaminanda's ever evolving sound is a kaleidoscope of warm melodies and twisting ,winding compositions.
