It's New Year's Eve, baby, and we're coming at you like we do every year, ready to rock the night away with old friends and party like fucking maniacs. This time around we're welcoming our old friends JEFF THE BROTHERHOOD to our stage and they're coming off a brand-new, self-produced EP of covers, entitled Dig The Classics, out this past September. Brothers Jake (guitars, vocals) and Jamin Orrall (drums) have chosen six of their favorite songs to include on Dig The Classics, including Pixies’ “Gouge Away,” My Bloody Valentine’s “Come In Alone,” Teenage Fanclub’s “Mad Dog 20/20,” and Beck’s “Totally Confused.”
Dig The Classics was released right before JEFF The Brotherhood launched a full-scale fall tour of both the East and West coasts. The band has been putting the finishing touches on their next studio album, the follow to the critically acclaimed Hypnotic Nights, and is expected to be released early next year. Chances are you'll hear a smattering of their hand-selected covers, new tracks, and all the old favorites. Their previous albums and high energy, super-rock live shows has earned the Orrall brothers glowing accolades for their hard rockin’, minimalist-maximalist approach from such outlets as Rolling Stone, Spin, The New York Times, USA Today, Pitchfork and many others.
Wouldn't you know it, we've got some of the best support you could imagine opening the show. Chicago buddies THE LEMONS are kicking things off with their scrappy, 50s-inspired garage-pop while Milwaukee maniac JUICEBOXX brings that noisy AMERICAN MUSIC that'll have the crowd creamin' their jeans long before the NYE countdown even begins. One more killer act TBA!
