PANTHA DU PRINCE (Hendrik Weber) once lived in the same woods that the Brothers Grimm fairy tales were based in, which perhaps explains the frequently strange and magical atmospheres found in much of his music. He fuses house, techno, shoegazy electronica and psychedelic electro-acoustic soundscapes into music that manages to be both beautiful and bewitching. Performing with his new "triad" lineup, PANTHA DU PRINCE will be unveiling currently unreleased material. Known for having a diverse range of setups, including one featuring a six-member band armed with hundreds of bells, the longstanding German producer's brand of organically-inclined techno will be heard in conjunction with SCOTT MOU's "gauzy guitar textures" and Kjeldsberg's percussion. SCOTT MOU (one half of JANE alongside PANDA BEAR) will be giving us a double-dosage of sonic love tonight. MOU is a New York based DJ, artist, and musician whose ambient guitar stylings will surely tickle our ears and sooth our souls. MOU released his debut album End Of Times (under the moniker QUEENS) last May. Opening the show tonight will be I LOVE YOU, the moniker of multi-instrumentalist Justin Randel. Creating mesmerizing music on MIDI equipment, I LOVE YOU has proven to be free of genre, vastly evolving in style while retaining its unique sound from album to album.
