Trish Trash Bookings & GRAUZONE present the GRAUZONE Summer Special, an offspring of the annual GRAUZONE Festival. This night we mainly focus on young, upcoming international bands: a balanced mix of the taste of GRAUZONE.
Hailing from Rome - Italy, Newclear Waves is essentially the solo project of Alessandro Adriani, mind and boss of Mannequin Records, one of the most important synth wave/cold wave labels around. Deeply influenced by the works of the early minimal electronics sounds on Mute Records and 4AD, Newclear Waves is exploring droned out electro pop territories with an interest for a refreshing hyperactive 80's new wave, finding his own identity somewhere between Snowy Red, The Normal and the first Human League. Having turned out releases on Mannequin Records, Newclear Waves is now presenting a full‐lenght ten tracks collection of caliginous pure analog minimal synth on the way on Desire Records.
Horror Vacui formed late 2010 in Bologna, Italy. Their roots are from the D.I.Y. hardcore punk scene, but their sound goes back to the early 80's. Think goth rock, post punk and dark wave.
Phosphor formed in London in 2011. The young trio is influenced by artists like Cocteau Twins, Siouxie and the Banshees, Depeche mode, Linear Movement and Slowdive, but their sound could also be described as a mix of The Soft Moon and Linea Aspera. These inspiration is cleverly and most of the time quite subtly digested into the band’s very own dark and hypnotic sound, that ranges from cold wave to shoegaze.
