BLACK ELK
Hailing from Portland, Black Elk perform an eclectic blend of metal, hardcore, sludge, alternative, art, and noise rock, akin to the sounds of THE JESUS LIZARD, HELMS ALEE, TRICLOPS!, CELAN, AKIMBO, and more...
PINS OF LIGHT
San Francisco's driving fistfight- er, band- with familiar faces from DEAD AND GONE, ALARIC, HIGHTOWER, TRICLOPS!, and many other bands, PINS OF LIGHT'S live shows are a sweaty mess of flailing limbs, hair, and crushed beer cans with music that combines the best of metal, punk, prog, MOTORHEAD and KARP! Singer/bassist Shane Baker, guitarists Jake Palladino and Ravi Durbeej, and drummer Phil Becker really kick out the jams, and have recently signed with and released their debut album with Alternative Tentacles
HELL SHIP
Aaron John Gregory and Scotty Sutton of Giant Squid combined forces with Zack Farwell and Shane Bergman of Walken (Zack is also in Grayceon) and decided to horde as many drummers and bassists in the scene to themselves, to stifle the putrid local competition. Once they found a club with a stage big enough for two drummers and a wall of bass amps, the band burnt it down shortly after taking the stage and disappeared down a trap door.
