Holly Throsby
Holly Throsby is een Australische singer-songwriter en maakt spooky en eigenzinnige nieuwe folk. In haar thuisland is ze al een ware ster, zong duetten met Bonnie Prince Billy en tourde o.a. met The Tallest Man On Earth en Joanna Newsom. Throsby komt touren rond haar nieuwe plaat ‘Team’ en ze neemt de geweldige Hollie Fullbrook a.
k.a Tiny Ruins mee naar Europa. Zij maakt mooie, hypnotiserende liedjes in de traditie van songwriters als Carole King. Soms liefelijk en fantasierijk dan weer schurend langs de randen van de folk.
