Thanks for the info - I must insist that anyone unconvinced by Jeffrey Lewis at least gives the 'Em Are I' album a try! First saw him in Cork, Ireland in 2009 before it came out, and his support slot for Pulp at Radio City was my 4th time catching him live. Also a really nice guy, and his comics are great!

There was definitely some John Maus -- "Do Your Best". I wasn't paying enough attention to catch any others, though I seem to remember the song before the John Maus being a bad smooth jazz cover of something, which was why the John Maus particularly stood out. Jeffrey Lewis wasn't my thing either, but whatever. At least his set was short.

Because Jeffrey Lewis is great, and Jarvis is a longtime fan. I'm trying to identify some of the songs played over the PA before the show, thought I might have heard some John Maus and Legendary Stardust Cowboy but could be completely wrong (there was a lot of chatter and it was pretty muffled) - is there a list out there? Does anyone know?
