Award-winning Caribbean soul artist Nhojj performs.

Drag performer Peppermint will host a sing-along screening of Rent (Chris Columbus, 2005, 135 min., PG-13), the film version of the Pulitzer and Tony Award–winning musical about East Village bohemians struggling with life, love, and art in the shadow of AIDS.

Brooklyn-based Ariel Aparicio, an award-winning Cuban-American pop-rock musician, will perform songs from his latest album.

As part of salon series The Brown Bear, Brooklyn-based artists A.K. Burns and Katherine Hubbard will provide free haircuts and conversation within a new three-channel video installation, Familiarity with today is the best preparation for the future.
