SCRAPS OF TAPE (SWE)
ist eine fünfköpfige Instrumental- und Post-Rock-Band aus Malmö, Schweden. Sie fand sich 2001 zusammen und schrieb an Ihrem Debütalbum Read Between the Lines at All Times. Die unberrechenbaren, explosiven Arrangements zeigen sich durch die gebrechliche Schönheit und aggressiv laute Klangkulissen.
Sie veröffentlichte Ihr zweites Album This is a Copy is This a Copy Anfang 2007 und ging mit Audrey auf Tour, welche im Lied Hands In Air mitsangen.

OBSTACLES (DK)
They say that obstacles are only made to be overcome, like rules are meant to be broken. As if there is nothing great about being an obstacle, or as if we should not be thankful that obstacles present themselves along the way.
Obstacles are an instrumental rock trio playing complex rock music with an incredible energy. Drums, bass & guitar might be a classic instrumentation, but Obstacles sounds nothing like classic rock. This is unpredictable, challenging and catchy as hell.

Bonelesss also von diesen 3 bands (mr. mantis mal außen vor) sind obstacles ja wohl die band, auf die man am ehsten verzichten kann. (vllt. muss ich mich aber auch nur von dem höchst anstrengenden fluff abschluss durch sie distanzieren...)

weisslepreissle Auch wenn der musikalische Wandel von Scraps of Tape noch so interessant zu beobachten ist, spielen sie einfach zu viele Shows in Dresden. Constants geht da vor.
