Craig Charles’ Funk and Soul Club – London
The King of Funk and Soul is back in town to host his very own Funk and Soul Club on the 22nd of October at Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes.
Craig is dedicated to promoting the very best in funk and soul from the roots of black music through to the current club sounds, featuring classic tracks, new releases, sessions and interviews. Craig also takes this love of music live up and down the country with his own live band; The Eye and of course his in demand DJ sets that he will be bringing to Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes. Expect to hear some absolute funk and soul classics mixed with fresh new material that will keep you moving all night.

Supreme funk, soul and anything influenced by funk & soul. Mr Charles brings us the best new acts on the scene and a huge selection of classics including Motown, Stax, P-Funk and anything else which would rightly be considered very, very good.
The Soul Immigrants (6 piece live Funk)
The Soul Immigrants continue to make 'original, and intelligent jazzy, deep funk grooves.' They have every right to sound confident; their variety shows itself through the music, and combined with the influence of a previous generation of funk and disco- results in a character that would be hard to emulate. Soul Immigrants are on it not because they pander to whatever sound is currently fashionable, but because they have unmistakable talent for performance and composition, that any fan of funk shouldn't miss out on. Be prepared to dance and join the party in full swing mode when you go to one of their gigs.
