Just got an email: We are delighted to welcome back former Meltdown Director Patti Smith to Southbank Centre for a special collaboration with The Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra. Patti Smith will play solo before being joined by The Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra to perform a special collaborative set. This year’s Meltdown Director Ornette Coleman also appears. Support comes from SOAP&SKIN. Please note that due to unforeseen circumstances The Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra will no longer be performing an individual set as part of this event. They appear only in collaboration with Patti Smith. Should you no longer wish to attend please return your original tickets to the following address by 18th at the latest requesting a credit voucher (valid for bookings made within 1 year) or a full refund.
